What if more time was spent both in the education of nurses, in new graduate programs and in every nurse orientation where a nurse is new to an organization on being a successful member of an organization. Sometimes I feel like there is so much focus on individual nursing, and even on individual teams that we lose sight of being part of a bigger health care organization and being part of a larger health care system. 

Sometimes I also feel like there is so much animosity between health care organizations and nurses that we lose sight of what it means to work in collaboration. We always talk about collaborative practice, but it seems like the administrative level and the governmental level is forgotten about. We are not enemies because we all have the same goal, we want people  and communities to be healthy.
