Have you ever made a vision-board? I haven’t but I think it’s kind of an interesting idea to sit down and brainstorm a personal vision, visually construct it and use it to focus one’s life. Is it novel to think that individuals can benefit from creating a tangible mission, vision and values like organizations do? Is that an exercise they can be beneficial to compete every year to see how on track you are with your ideas about what you want your life to be?

The days are long but the years are short. I am tired. I feel like I blinked and missed 2021. I suspect I am entering a mid-life crisis. Is this what happens when one turns 40?

I am already grieving the end of summer despite the upcoming heat wave. Goodbye long sunny days. See you again next year.

I want to work on more creative projects. When I was a teen (in the mid-to-late 90s) I wrote a ‘zine, at first with a couple friend and then it was just me. I read old things I wrote sometimes and think about how angsty I was.

I think I need more short story writing and visual narrative projects in my life.

It freaks me out that I graduated from university the first time almost 20 years ago. I still have nightmares about forgetting to study for a test.

That is all.
