I’m getting tired of social media messaging about being the best me I can be. Do this, do that, be happy. Don’t compromise your values…but I mean, sometimes it’s okay to compromise your values, right?
Find your passion. Live your best life.
What does that even mean? In a subjective world where everyday might be a struggle, what is a ‘best life’?
What would the world be like if everyone helped each other, everyday? And it wasn’t contingent on anything except the idea that humanity is beautiful?
Have you read the book A Complicated Kindness by Miriam Toews?
