It’s starting to feel too much like everything is a marketing tool. What are you sharing and what are you selling?
I am critical of what organizations like this are selling. Substance addiction treatment has very much become a business. I want to know how much profit is being made. It’s not about sharing research evidence to inform health services. It’s about selling something. These aren’t not for profit organizations. Take a look are who the organizers, sponsors, partners, funders and speakers are. Are they getting paid? Or are they selling an idea that their way is the best way and is they idea a for profit program? TM?
